Lead Solution Analyst

About the role

Absa is hiring a Lead Solution Analyst in Johannesburg, embedded in a DevOps team. You will work in high-complexity environments, using specialist analysis tools and frameworks to elicit, define and organise business requirements across many stakeholder groups, then turn them into user stories and specifications covering integration points, business and associated risks and opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse complex business areas, build relationships with business and users, and prepare and prioritise the backlog of user stories
• Translate needs into user stories and specifications, and define acceptance criteria, test cases and manual testing strategies
• Build detailed user stories and use tools such as UML and BPMN to model business and system processes and integration points
• Work with Tribe Leads, project teams and squads to define roadmaps, releases and planning, and review solution designs
• Define and run manual testing, provide real-time feedback to DevOps teams, and support developers and users during UAT
• Support business case preparation, process modelling, and coaching and mentoring of analysts and the DevOps team

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
• Preferred: experience in credit risk, credit originations and decisioning, corporate and commercial lending, credit scoring and rating models, and credit lifecycle management
