About the role
Join a friendly, hard‑working team in a busy pub kitchen, preparing and cooking food while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and customer service. Flexible shift patterns mean you can work mornings, evenings, weekends or late finishes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present food to specification.
- Operate kitchen workstations such as grills, fryers and microwaves.
- Work collaboratively to meet time and quality targets.
- Follow food hygiene, allergen, health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the shift, including full kitchen clean‑downs.
- Rotate stock and store food safely.
- Complete required induction, role‑specific and refresher training.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic, reliable and friendly with a good attitude.
- Willingness to learn and stay calm under pressure.
- Team‑player who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment.
- No prior experience required.
