About the role

Join the kitchen team at The Admiral Collingwood pub, where you’ll help prepare and cook food while keeping the kitchen running smoothly. No prior experience is required – we provide training and a supportive environment for anyone with a positive attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present menu items to specification.
• Operate kitchen workstations such as grills, fryers and microwaves.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health & safety.
• Rotate stock, store food safely and assist with kitchen clean‑downs.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet time and quality targets.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and able to stay calm under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and follow training programmes.
• Flexible availability for mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes.

• Competitive hourly rate of £12.91 (plus extra £1 per hour for midnight‑5:59 am shifts).
