Key Accounts Manager - KZN

About the role

Fidelity Services Group is looking for a Key Accounts Manager in KZN. The main objective is to manage the client relationship effectively and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly, covering tracking units, new fitments, repairs and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Meet client needs and expectations, and handle queries about the tracking portal, new fitments, repairs, stolen vehicle recoveries and other issues, supporting the division's teams
• Manage issues with internal and external customers and prepare and present reports to the customer
• Keep the client database up to date, reconcile it and act on anomalies promptly
• Ensure day-to-day operations run effectively, including new fitments, repairs, de-installations and reinstalls
• Maintain marketing material and training for customer branches so they can sell tracking units to end customers, and train staff on the fleet portal and app
• Run regular health checks on units, check that staff on the customer's premises are professional and productive, and control stock and SIM cards for the account
• Plan new fitments, remove deinstalled or deactivated units from systems and suspend them from billing, and process additional billing requirements under the SLA
• Assist with collections, stock forecasting and budgeting, and ensure work follows company policies
• Sourcing new B2B and SME business through an ongoing prospecting plan

Required profile

• Experience in a similar role preferred
• Prior experience in telematics is advantageous
• Organised, practical, able to manage projects and work in a fast-paced, pressured environment

Required skills

• Very strong computer skills, especially Excel and data manipulation (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
