Key Account Manager

About the role

A company is looking for a driven, customer-focused Key Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of key corporate accounts. The role covers maintaining strong client relationships, excellent service delivery, business development and support for new business. It is based in Kyalami, full time and hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a portfolio of key corporate accounts
• Build and strengthen long-term client relationships
• Conduct regular account reviews and provide performance reports to clients
• Manage client queries, billing processes, scheme utilisation and profitability
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and introduce additional products and services
• Negotiate and secure new business opportunities
• Coordinate and manage new projects and schemes from initiation to implementation
• Prepare business proposals and presentations for clients and stakeholders
• Take part in exhibitions, trade shows and promotional activities
• Carry out market research and competitor analysis as required
• Collaborate across internal business units to meet client needs

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Diploma or degree in Business Management, Relationship Management, Marketing or a related field, completed or in progress
• At least one year of experience in a key account management environment, including new business development and interaction with clients at a senior level
