Key Account Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading provider of Office Automation, ICT and Business Connectivity solutions, is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join their team in Durban. The role focuses on managing strategic accounts, driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer service within the ICT and Office Automation sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts in the ICT and Office Automation sector.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients and decision‑makers.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities for connectivity and automation solutions.
• Conduct regular account reviews to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations and performance reports.
• Negotiate contract renewals and commercial agreements.
• Collaborate with technical, support and project teams for seamless service delivery.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and monitor industry trends.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with a relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Key Account Management within ICT, Office Automation, Telecommunications or Connectivity/Fibre.
• Proven track record of managing and growing strategic client accounts.
• Strong negotiation, relationship management and communication abilities.
• Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office

What we offer
