Key Account Manager – Histology & Sequencing

About the role

Roche Diagnostics is looking for a Key Account Manager focused on Histology and Sequencing to drive growth in the Western Cape and beyond. You will develop account and portfolio strategies, secure new sales opportunities, and build strong relationships with executive decision‑makers in the diagnostic and medical sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage executive stakeholders, creating detailed account maps and organograms.
• Analyse sales data at the portfolio level, spot trends and variances, and provide actionable insights monthly.
• Maintain internal collaboration with marketing, product, and other departments to align on account strategies.
• Develop and present proposals for new products or opportunities, securing new clients and expanding existing footprints.
• Participate in Roche and industry events to strengthen customer relationships and gather market intelligence.

Required profile

• Commercial experience in the diagnostic or medical industry.
• Proven ability to manage key accounts and influence senior decision‑makers.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience extracting and interpreting sales data.
• Willingness to travel across the Western Cape and to other provinces as needed.
