Junior Web Designer/Developer

About the role

Our client in the UK is seeking a Junior Web Designer/Developer to join a dynamic digital marketing team. The role involves creating website mockups, developing sites from design to launch, and providing ongoing updates and support.

Key responsibilities

• Design website mockups based on client briefs.
• Develop new websites from mockups to live launch.
• Provide website support, updates, and implement new features.
• Liaise with clients regarding design and content.
• Collaborate with digital marketers and the Creative Director to deliver effective solutions.
• Implement SEO considerations to optimise site performance.

Required profile

• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to translate design briefs into functional websites.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of CMS systems (e.g., Joomla).
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator.
• Understanding of front‑end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript.
• Basic SEO implementation knowledge.
