Junior Veterinary Nurse – Paarl

An established and growing veterinary hospital in the Paarl area of the Western Cape is looking for a dedicated Junior Veterinary Nurse. The role suits a compassionate and motivated nurse who wants to build on their experience in a supportive, professional environment where patient care, teamwork and professional development are valued.

Key responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in providing high-quality care to small animals
• Administer medications, vaccines and treatments as directed by veterinarians
• Perform laboratory tests, diagnostic procedures and imaging techniques
• Monitor patients during surgery and recovery
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Required profile

• Dip or degree in Veterinary Nursing
• SAVC registration
• Updated CPD points
• Previous experience in a veterinary nursing environment
• Valid driver's licence
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Experience between 0 and 1 year
