Junior Student Support Advisor (Fixed-Term)

About the role

The Junior Student Support Advisor will join the Student Support Department of SANTS, a private higher‑education institution delivering teacher training remotely. This entry‑level, fixed‑term position focuses on assisting students with administrative queries, navigating online platforms, and ensuring a positive learning experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive knowledge of SANTS processes such as applications, assessments, enrolments, workplace‑integrated learning and graduations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to student inquiries and complaints via phone, email and the student information system.
• Guide students in using the Student Information System (SIS) and Learning Management System (LMS).
• Escalate complex issues to senior advisors or team leads.
• Support the applications team with student enrolment tasks and assist in preparing graduation ceremonies.
• Shadow senior advisors and contribute to various administrative activities as assigned.

Required profile

• Matric or NQF Level 5 post‑matric qualification (e.g., Diploma in Business Management, Customer Service or Marketing).
• Fluent English and proficiency in at least two indigenous languages.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ambition to perform.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
