Junior Space Planner (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Space Planner to develop and maintain store layouts, floor plans, and planograms across our Cape Town stores. The role involves allocating space based on product performance, supporting new store openings, and optimizing space utilisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain store layouts, floor plans, and planograms for all store formats.
• Allocate space based on product performance, category strategy, and seasonal trends.
• Support new store openings, refurbishments, and relocations with detailed space plans.
• Analyse sales, stock turn, and product performance data to inform space allocation.
• Collaborate with Buying, Operations, and Store Leaders to ensure effective implementation of layouts.
• Create detailed planograms that reflect brand standards and commercial priorities.
• Conduct store visits to audit compliance and identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Retail Management, Business, Logistics, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in space planning, preferably within a retail environment (FMCG or specialty retail).
