Digital Designer – Create Impactful Visuals

About the role

Join Mukuru as a Digital Designer and turn concepts into compelling, on‑brand visual assets across print, digital and motion platforms. This role is based in Cape Town and will see your work featured in campaigns, branches, events and more.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver high‑quality graphics, animations and videos for print, web, social media and other digital channels.
• Collaborate with the Senior Design Manager, marketing teams, suppliers and agencies to ensure all assets align with Mukuru’s brand identity.
• Manage projects from concept through final delivery, incorporating feedback and meeting deadlines.
• Stay updated on design trends, tools and emerging technologies, including the use of AI to enhance workflow.

Required profile

• Degree or certification in design, visual arts, animation or a related field.
• At least 6 years of professional design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing static, animated and video work.
• Detail‑oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience creating HTML5 animations.
• 3D modelling or animation skills using Blender (optional but advantageous).
