Junior Sales Representative - FMCG

About the role

We are urgently sourcing Junior Sales Representatives for our client in the Durban area. The role is ideal for recent Marketing, Sales or Business graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the FMCG sector. Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, you will help drive sales growth and expand market share.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage fortnightly call schedules and client visits.
• Classify, segment, and prioritise clients to maximise growth opportunities.
• Conduct market research and maintain up‑to‑date product and industry knowledge.
• Implement and support promotional activities in line with company guidelines.
• Compile and submit accurate weekly sales and ADAPT reports within set deadlines.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) – essential.
• 1–3 years’ sales experience (graduates welcome).
• Degree or Diploma – advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence – compulsory; Afrikaans‑speaking preferred.
• Strong computer literacy with sound numeracy and technical aptitude.

• Basic salary ranging from R15 000 to R20 000 per month, dependent on experience.
