Junior Product Data Administrator

About the role

The Junior Product Data Administrator provides essential administrative and operational support to the product and sales teams within an IT distribution environment. You will manage quotations, keep product and pricing data up‑to‑date, monitor product availability and ensure smooth communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Undergo all required sales and technical training provided by vendors.
• Create, maintain and update customer quotations.
• Produce weekly reports on computing product availability.
• Manage email correspondence related to product data and quotations.
• Maintain accurate product, pricing and margin information in the system.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• One year of internal sales experience in the South African IT industry is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new products quickly and convey their value.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑identification and resolution abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (including margin calculations).
• Microsoft Word.
• Microsoft Outlook.
