Junior Graphic Designer

About the role

Epic Toys and Games, a growing Cape Town-based business specialising in trading cards, toys, games and collectibles, is looking for a creative, organised and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer. The position is full-time and on-site in Pinelands, Cape Town, with a monthly salary of R12,000 to R15,000.

Key responsibilities

• Create email campaign layouts and promotional marketing materials.
• Sourcing, resizing and preparing website product images and other digital assets.
• Design catalogues, product information sheets and mockups.
• Create social media posts and other branded content.
• Design Point of Sale material and in-store displays.
• Work with the team to meet weekly deadlines, keeping artwork and product information accurate, including checking pricing and other details.

Required profile

• A relevant qualification, diploma or equivalent experience in graphic design.
• A strong eye for detail, layout, typography and visual consistency.
• Organised, reliable and able to communicate well with a team while managing several deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in design software such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign.
