Junior Brand Manager

About the role

Premier FMCG is seeking a Junior Brand Manager to support the maize portfolio within its Milling division. You will contribute to brand growth by driving equity, market share, revenue and profitability while working in a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute brand strategies to meet business objectives such as equity, revenue growth and market share.
• Lead marketing campaigns, product launches, and key brand initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Manage innovation timelines, milestones and deliverables.
• Design and implement shopper marketing activities to improve in‑store visibility and share of shelf.
• Identify opportunities and risks, build business cases and drive implementation of tactics.
• Engage internal stakeholders (marketing, sales, CI) and external partners (agencies, suppliers) to ensure alignment.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Marketing or Advertising; postgraduate specialization in Marketing preferred.
• Minimum 4 years post‑degree experience, with at least 3 years in FMCG marketing interacting with trade and sales.
• Proven ability to analyse market, consumer and competitor data and translate insights into growth actions.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
