Marketing Assistant

About the role

IGrow Wealth Investments Group of Companies is looking for a proactive Marketing Assistant to support the IGrow Rentals department in Midrand. You will work in a fast‑moving environment, ensuring brand consistency and delivering high‑quality event and marketing support.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage all show days and marketing events for the rentals department.
• Liaise with rental agents, property managers and venue contacts to confirm logistics, timing and setup.
• Prepare and oversee show‑day materials such as signage, brochures and promotional items.
• Maintain supplier relationships and track event logistics.
• Assist with moving equipment and setting up events on show days.
• Support day‑to‑day marketing activities, including content creation and social media asset production.

Required profile

• Matric/Grade 12 with a National Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field.
• 3‑5 years experience in a marketing assistant, coordinator or project support role, preferably within a studio, agency or in‑house creative team.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport for occasional travel.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Forms).
• Experience using Canva or similar design tools for basic marketing materials.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, preferably Zoho CRM.
• Knowledge of project‑management tools such as Asana, Monday.com or Trello.
• Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
