Junior Automation Support Specialist – 6 months contract

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Automation Support Specialist with hands‑on experience in Blue Prism to provide proactive and reactive end‑to‑end support for enterprise automation solutions. The role focuses on maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting and optimizing bots to ensure continuous business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, monitor, maintain, upgrade and retire Blue Prism bots and automation workflows.
• Track health and performance of bots, investigate failures and resolve production incidents.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Manage queues, schedules and workloads to guarantee smooth execution.
• Support system patches, version upgrades and automation enhancements.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, QA and business teams to address technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with governance, risk and security standards.
• Maintain technical documentation, incident logs and support records.
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency gains.
• Assist with integration troubleshooting involving APIs, databases and connected systems.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in RPA/Automation support or similar technical support role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Blue Prism in production environments.
• Experience with incident, problem management and root‑cause analysis.
• Understanding of automation lifecycle support and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases and system integrations.
• Experience with Windows Server, virtual machines and infrastructure support.
• Exposure to enterprise governance, risk and compliance processes.
