Job Captain, Interior Design

About the role

Project Managers are responsible for the successful management of multiple interior design projects while leading and mentoring assigned staff. The role involves coordinating consultants and internal resources, developing contract documents, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor design teams to deliver interior design projects on time and within budget.
• Manage the development and coordination of complete sets of contract documents.
• Facilitate contracts, monitor budgets, and represent the company on construction sites.
• Maintain ongoing client communication and address project issues promptly.
• Oversee consultants and internal resources to ensure design quality and compliance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience managing corporate or commercial interior design projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• CID or NCIDQ certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Newforma.
• Thorough understanding of building codes.
• Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents.
