Senior Graphic Designer (Remote)

About the role

HelloKindred, a staffing specialist in marketing, creative and technology roles, is recruiting a Senior Graphic Designer for its client in the investment management industry. The role sits in the Marketing Global Operations team, working with portfolio managers, investment teams, sales, communications, marketing and client operations. It is a part-time, remote position of 40 hours per week, on a 6-month initial contract with possible rolling extensions.

Key responsibilities

• Apply brand guidelines so that print and digital work represents the brand consistently.
• Create web designs, including email and page banners and infographics, that improve user experience.
• Produce campaign visuals and marketing materials such as brochures and promotional documents.
• Format templated PDFs for thought leadership articles and create/edit fillable PDFs.
• Edit, resize and enhance images and staff photography.
• Proofread short-form content, check file naming and organisation, and support quality control and peer reviews.
• Prioritise design requests to meet deadlines.
• Develop static and animated data visualisations (Flourish training provided).
• Collaborate with the web agency and the wider marketing team.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience with a portfolio.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Ability to interpret briefs, manage several projects and stay self-motivated.
• Legal right to live and work in the country of the position without employer sponsorship.

Required skills

• Figma is a must; Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and After Effects are required, with other Adobe tools a plus.
• Word and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Basic animation skills and solid understanding of branding and marketing.
• Good Excel skills and some data visualisation experience are advantageous.
