IT Technician – First & Second Line Support

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated IT Technician to provide first‑ and second‑line technical support, maintain IT systems and assist users with their day‑to‑day IT needs at our Pinetown branch.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑line IT support to users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
• Install, configure and maintain PCs, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Support Microsoft Windows, Office 365 and basic networking.
• Perform system updates, backups and basic security checks.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or service providers.
• Maintain accurate job notes and documentation.

Required profile

• Relevant IT qualification (A+, N+ or similar).
• 1–3 years experience in an IT support role.
• Knowledge of Windows OS and basic networking.
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.
