IT Lecturer - Java

About the role

Eduvos is seeking an enthusiastic IT Lecturer specialized in Java to join its Bedfordview campus on a fixed‑term basis. The position is full‑time and focuses on delivering high‑quality teaching for Information Technology modules while supporting the department’s academic activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the learning experience of undergraduate students and will be involved in both instructional and administrative duties.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Java and related IT courses for undergraduate students.
• Develop teaching materials, practical labs and assessment tools aligned with curriculum standards.
• Provide academic guidance and constructive feedback to students to foster learning outcomes.
• Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to curriculum development and assist with administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve course content, teaching methods and student engagement.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to teach at tertiary level, preferably in Java programming.
• Full‑time availability for the duration of the fixed‑term contract.
