IT Installer – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous IT Installer to join a well‑established manufacturing company in Bloemfontein. The role supports daily IT operations, focusing on cabling, hardware installation, and network infrastructure across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test CAT6 fibre cabling.
• Pull, route, label, and secure cables according to industry standards.
• Terminate cables in patch panels, cabinets, and equipment rooms.
• Mount and connect devices such as CCTV cameras, Wi‑Fi access points, network switches, and network cabinets.
• Diagnose and repair technical faults in cabling, hardware devices, or system configurations.
• Support daily IT operations, maintain cleanliness of IT areas, and manage hardware inventory.
• Assist with hardware collection, physical inspections, and stock control.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in an IT environment.
• At least 2 years direct exposure to IT hardware, network infrastructure, CCTV, and fibre installation.
• National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF Level 4.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal transportation.
• Strong communication skills and a calm, professional demeanor.
