Investment Director

About the role

We are seeking an Investment Director to lead deal execution, diligence, and portfolio monitoring for Minds Capital. The role offers immediate responsibility within a fast‑scaling, entrepreneurial private‑equity platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead due‑diligence on active transactions, including financial, commercial and operational analysis.
• Run weekly pipeline meetings with senior partners and manage junior deal‑team members.
• Present investment opportunities to the investment committee and prepare investment memos.
• Engage independent sponsors, screen new deals and vet sponsor quality.
• Monitor quarterly portfolio performance and produce clear updates for LPs and deal briefings.
• Analyze CRM and pipeline data, improve sourcing, and refine diligence and reporting processes.
• Leverage AI tools and automation to accelerate workflow, aiming for investment‑committee readiness within 48 hours.
• Manage cross‑functional projects, identify operational gaps and implement solutions.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in US private‑equity, with senior‑level relationship management.
• Strong analytical toolkit for financial modeling, market research and data analysis.
• Comfortable experimenting with AI tools, automation and digital solutions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Mature interpersonal capabilities, confident with senior executives and investors.
• Tech‑savvy mindset, willing to experiment with code and digital tools.
• High initiative, entrepreneurial attitude and ability to thrive in lean environments.
