Inventory Controller – Logistics

About the role

The Inventory Controller will ensure stock integrity within the warehouse, reconciling any differences and preventing loss to the company. You will work closely with internal and external customers to maintain accurate inventory data and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high‑level communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support change initiatives and uphold honesty, pride, and attention to detail in daily tasks.
• Ensure product safety, quality and integrity are never compromised.
• Use both system data and physical verification to keep stock and pallets accurately recorded.
• Follow all procedures aimed at minimizing stock loss and locating items efficiently.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and safe working practices.
• Account for every product movement to reduce damage or loss.
• Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to support inventory tasks.
• Investigate and resolve issues arising from replenishment synchronization.
• Conduct regular audits of receiving, put‑away, picking and dispatch processes.
• Handle equipment correctly and report any defects.
• Forecast client demand to ensure stock availability.
• Coordinate purchase orders, stock transfers and deliveries.
• Develop and implement inventory control systems and practices.
• Manage stock count processes and generate reports for stakeholders.
