Inventory Controller – FMCG (Port Elizabeth)

About the role
Our client is seeking an Inventory Controller for their FMCG supply operations based in Coega, near Port Elizabeth.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct daily cycle‑counts according to the schedule and investigate variances.
- Investigate all item adjustments and provide root‑cause evidence.
- Generate inventory journals for fresh wastage and inter‑branch transfers.
- Ensure proper filing of cycle‑counts and inventory postings.
- Maintain health and safety standards and a clean, safe work environment.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager and fellow employees as needed, including on‑the‑job training for new staff.
Required profile
- Matric qualification with strong attention to detail.
- Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.
- Good attendance record and professional appearance.
- Team‑player attitude with commitment to work ethics.
Required skills
- Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet usage.
