Intranet Platform Owner & Internal Communications Lead

About the role

We are looking for an organized, process‑driven professional to lead the rollout and ongoing operation of our new corporate intranet, MyHub. The role starts as a project lead to configure the platform and ends as the platform owner who drives employee engagement and internal communications.

Key responsibilities

• Design the intranet information architecture, navigation menus and document structures.
• Configure role‑based permissions, department pages and data security settings.
• Audit manual processes and build automated forms and approval workflows using the platform’s form builder.
• Plan and execute the launch campaign, create user guides and walkthrough videos.
• Maintain the editorial calendar, draft and publish company news, executive blogs and announcements.
• Manage social feeds, peer‑recognition programs, polls and surveys to boost engagement.
• Govern content by ensuring department pages stay current and archiving outdated material.
• Monitor monthly active users, search queries and form completion rates to optimise the experience.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years in corporate communications, digital workplace or content project management.
• Mid‑level professional comfortable working remotely from South Africa with a shifted schedule (e.g., 13:00‑21:00 SAST) to overlap with US teams.
• Experience leading platform implementations and ongoing governance.

Required skills

• Administration of cloud‑based intranet/CMS platforms such as MyHub, Jostle, Workvivo, ThoughtFarmer or Huler.
• Form‑builder and workflow automation capabilities.
• Basic analytics and reporting of platform usage metrics.
