Internal IT Support Officer

About the role

The Internal IT Support Officer will lead the IT function across the Head Office and multiple branch locations, ensuring reliable infrastructure, secure systems and effective end‑user support. This role is pivotal for maintaining business continuity in a multi‑site environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 services and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for all users.
• Provide 1st and 2nd line support to staff at the Head Office and branches.
• Maintain network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, routing, Wi‑Fi and ISP connections.
• Manage IT hardware procurement, asset registers and equipment lifecycle.
• Oversee cybersecurity measures, endpoint protection and Microsoft Defender.
• Coordinate 3rd‑party vendors, service providers and software subscriptions.
• Handle onboarding and off‑boarding processes, user provisioning and licence administration.
• Develop, enforce and document IT policies, disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in internal IT support, systems administration or a similar role.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 or ITIL are advantageous.
• Proven experience managing multi‑site IT environments and remote support.
• Experience with 3rd‑party vendor management and cybersecurity administration.

• Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration.
• Network fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, routing, Wi‑Fi, ISP management.
