Internal IT Auditor – Corporate Placements

About the role

Our client, a leading philanthropy NGO, is looking for an Internal Auditor IT to strengthen governance, risk management and internal controls across its operations. You will provide assurance on technology‑enabled processes, data integrity and emerging digital risks while supporting the organisation’s evolution.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, scope and conduct risk‑based internal audit engagements.
• Perform process, risk and control assessment reviews.
• Identify risks, conduct gap analysis and test key controls.
• Execute substantive audit testing and prepare audit reports.
• Assess IT systems, ERP platforms and data controls.
• Evaluate automated processes and system‑based controls.

Required profile

• BTech, Advanced Diploma or Degree in Internal Audit, Accounting, Information Systems or related field.
• Completed CIA qualification or studying towards it (advantageous).
• Minimum 3 years of IT audit experience.
• Background in AI and IT audit (e.g., BPM).
• Exposure to ERP systems, IT controls or data‑analytics tools (advantageous).
• Experience in the philanthropy or non‑profit sector (advantageous).
