About the role
ActionAid is seeking an Internal Auditor to strengthen compliance, risk management and operational efficiency across its operations. The role involves planning and executing audits, evaluating internal controls and delivering actionable recommendations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and conduct internal audits across various functions.
- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk‑management processes.
- Prepare clear audit reports with findings and improvement recommendations.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on outstanding issues.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as CIA or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in internal audit.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
