Intermediate to Senior Android Developer – Digital Banking

About the role

We are looking for an Intermediate to Senior Android Developer to join a high‑performing digital banking team within a leading financial services institution. You will design, develop and maintain secure, scalable mobile banking applications while collaborating with cross‑functional Agile squads.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java, following modern frameworks and best practices.
• Build high‑quality, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Translate business and technical requirements into robust application features.
• Ensure optimal performance, responsiveness and reliability of mobile applications.
• Contribute to solution design and architecture decisions, implementing clean, testable and reusable code.
• Drive adherence to coding standards, security requirements and best practices, and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, QA, DevOps and Architects in Agile ceremonies.
• Support integration with backend systems, APIs and enterprise platforms.
• Provide technical mentorship and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Kotlin and/or Java.
• Proven ability to work in regulated enterprise environments and Agile teams.
• Experience delivering mobile applications that meet security and compliance standards.
