Intermediate Mobile Developer (React Native)

About the role

We are looking for an intermediate mobile developer with solid React Native experience to join a curated talent pool for product‑driven companies in Cape Town. As part of this pool you will be considered for upcoming roles that focus on building and maintaining high‑quality iOS and Android applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain mobile applications using React Native.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers and product teams to deliver new features.
• Ensure performance, quality and responsiveness of applications across platforms.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, integrating APIs and third‑party services.
• Write clean, scalable and maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Stay up to date with mobile development trends and best practices.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in mobile or software development.
• Strong experience with React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and backend integrations.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for data handling.
• Familiarity with Git and agile development environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
