Intermediate Full‑Stack Developer (Java/JavaScript)

About the role

You will join the eLABS team to design, build and maintain full‑stack solutions that power digital services across Africa. As a full‑stack developer you will be involved in planning, development, testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance of web and cross‑platform mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the eLABS solution using Java, JavaScript and the Helium Platform.
• Integrate third‑party APIs, including messaging platforms such as WhatsApp Business API.
• Design, implement and optimise database schemas and SQL queries in PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with product, design and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain code quality, perform code reviews and ensure robust testing.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong SQL and data‑processing skills; statistical analysis experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Passion for building solutions that have a positive impact across Africa.
