Intellimatch Implementation Consultant

About the role

Watershed Consulting is looking for seasoned consulting professionals to join its Trading and Asset Services – Back Office practice. The role focuses on delivering IntelliMatch implementations, upgrades, and multi‑environment configurations for South African clients, with a hybrid work model (2 days onsite in Sandton).

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end client engagements from discovery through delivery.
• Facilitate requirements workshops and design solution architectures.
• Configure, install, and implement IntelliMatch and related reconciliation solutions.
• Manage multi‑environment setups (DEV, SIT, UAT, PROD, DR) including installations, upgrades, and DR/failover configurations.
• Perform technical troubleshooting, log analysis, performance tuning, and health checks.
• Deliver client training, post‑go‑live support, and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, infrastructure teams, and DBAs throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience with IntelliMatch and/or Data Integrity Manager implementations.
• Strong background in enterprise reconciliation platforms and design.
• Solid expertise in Windows Server and SQL Server installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Experience managing DEV, SIT, UAT, PROD, and DR environments.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, analyse logs, and optimise performance.
• Good communication skills for client workshops, training, and documentation.
