Insurance Broker (Willowbridge)

About the role

OUTsurance is hiring an OUTsurance Broker for its Willowbridge office. The business has developed a tied agent model, and the broker grows the business insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance, selling personal lines and commercial lines through prospecting and canvassing for new business.

Key responsibilities

• Build a book of short-term insurance and grow the business insurance portfolio
• Sell personal lines and commercial lines by prospecting and canvassing for new business
• Work closely with the wider Commercial team and report to the regional manager

Required profile

• Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate
• Own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access and a valid code B driver's licence
• 3 years of external sales experience in a face-to-face selling environment
• Experience in lead generation, cold calling, relationship management and opening doors
• Previous experience as a FAIS representative requires FAIS credits and/or Full Insurance Qualification (depending on Dofa) and RE5 (depending on Dofa)
