Information Technology Teacher (Grade 12)

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Information Technology Teacher to join our school in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape. The successful candidate will deliver the CAPS curriculum to Grade 12 learners, fostering a strong foundation in IT concepts and practical skills.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess Information Technology lessons for Grade 12 students in line with the CAPS curriculum.
- Integrate technology effectively into classroom activities to enhance learning outcomes.
- Participate actively in school life, contributing to extracurricular activities and collaborative projects.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science combined with a PGCE qualification.
- Honours degree is advantageous.
- Registration with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
- Minimum three years of experience teaching Information Technology to Grade 12.
- Alignment with the values, ethos and mission of the College.
