HVAC Site Supervisor

About the role

A reputable commercial HVAC company is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead installation teams on a fixed‑term, project‑based contract in Potchefstroom. You will ensure that all HVAC works are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily HVAC installation activities on commercial project sites.
• Lead and coordinate technicians and subcontractors to meet project deadlines.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and commissioning of commercial HVAC systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and quality‑control checks throughout the project.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and project plans.
• Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and suppliers on progress.
• Manage availability of materials, tools, and equipment on site.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and required documentation.
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Trade Test qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the commercial HVAC industry.
• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or Team Leader.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Willingness to work on a fixed‑term, project‑based contract in Potchefstroom.

What we offer

• Salary: R23,000 – R25,000 CTC per month (depending on experience)
