Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead the HR function to create an environment where people are the competitive advantage of the business. You will be responsible for aligning HR systems, policies and practices with organisational goals and ensuring legal compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date HR systems, policies and procedures and ensure timely delivery of HR reports and statistics.
• Plan and execute recruitment, capacity planning and employment processes in line with approved profiles and budgets.
• Develop and deliver training programmes, learnerships and internship initiatives to meet legislative and business requirements.
• Manage employee relations, monitor legislative changes and ensure compliance with company and state benefits.
• Facilitate organisational development activities, career pathing, talent needs analysis and induction for management and support functions.
• Lead HR projects, support change initiatives and act as a strategic partner to line management.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of HR legislation, benefits trends and employment best practices.
• Proven ability to analyse capacity requirements and implement effective recruitment strategies.
• Experience in designing and delivering training and development programmes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence line managers.
