Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead and continuously improve the HR function for our client in Kempton Park, Gauteng. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will act as a strategic partner while delivering hands‑on HR services across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HR strategies, policies and procedures aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee employee and labour relations, recruitment, talent management, performance management and training & development.
• Manage the Skills Development function, including Workplace Skills Plan, SETA compliance, learnerships and internships.
• Own the BBBEE scorecard, coordinating ownership, skills development, enterprise and supplier development, and socio‑economic initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with labour legislation, collective agreements, ESG reporting and organisational development programmes.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR support to managers and employees, handling problem‑solving and operational execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior HR leader with a balance of strategic insight and operational execution.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour law, BBBEE regulations and Skills Development requirements.
• Ability to influence executive and operational teams and drive transformation initiatives.
