Human Resources Manager

About the role

Forever Living Products Southern Africa is looking for an experienced, commercially‑minded Human Resources Manager to lead the people strategy across the full employee lifecycle. You will build the HR function from the ground up, aligning people practices with business objectives and fostering a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the HR operating model, governance framework, policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Develop the annual HR operational plan, workforce plan, and budget.
• Partner with executive and departmental leaders to identify workforce priorities, organisational risks, and talent opportunities.
• Act as a trusted advisor on organisational design, performance, employee relations, talent, and culture matters.
• Lead organisational change, restructuring, and transformation initiatives with effective communication.
• Prepare and present HR reports, insights, risks, and recommendations to senior management.
• Select, implement, and optimise HRIS, electronic records, workflow automation, and document management systems.
• Conduct HR audits, ensure policy compliance, and maintain document retention in line with POPIA.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building or scaling an HR function in a fast‑growing organisation.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour law and POPIA compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and influence strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication, change‑management, and stakeholder‑engagement skills.

Required skills

• HRIS implementation and optimisation.
• Knowledge of POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act) compliance.
