Human Resources Development Coordinator – Mining (Limpopo)

About the role

This position is with a global mining client operating in Limpopo. The Human Resources Development Coordinator will lead the governance of technical training for mechanised mining, ensuring policies, standards and procedures are developed and applied.

Key responsibilities

• Govern the Mining Technical Training programme for mechanised operations.
• Develop and implement HRD policies, standards and procedures.
• Conduct knowledge and needs analysis between HRD and operational teams.
• Provide technical input to workforce and succession planning.
• Maintain occupation curricula, update labour plans and monitor compliance.
• Handle grievances, investigations, disciplinary proceedings and union relations.
• Manage financial aspects, budgeting and reporting to the mine manager.
• Ensure compliance with SLP, BBBEE, Mining Charter and other regulatory frameworks.

Required profile

• NQF 5 or Higher Diploma in Human Resources Development or equivalent.
• Mine Overseer certificate (mandatory).
• Assessor/Moderator/Lead Auditor certificate (advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years HRD experience, including at least 2 years in a specialist mechanised mining HRD role.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Experience managing internal disciplinary proceedings and union relationships.
• Strong computer literacy with LMS administration capability.
