HR Site Manager

About the role

We are seeking an HR Site Manager to take overall accountability for the human resource function at our construction site, ensuring compliance with South African labour legislation and client contract obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day industrial relations, disciplinary processes and represent the company at CCMA, Labour Court or with external counsel.
• Oversee payroll and benefits, approve and process monthly payroll, ensure compliance with BCEA, COIDA, UIF and MIBCO requirements.
• Act as the primary HR contact for the client, handling workforce governance, training certification and escalation of tenure or certification issues.
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment standards, training matrix maintenance and mobilisation of pre‑qualified staff on short notice.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Labour Relations (MIBCO course advantageous).
• Minimum 8 years HR experience, at least 3 years in a managerial role within automotive, manufacturing or labour‑intensive services.
• Extensive experience with MIBCO payroll management and handling a multi‑shift workforce of 100+ employees.
• Proven ability to manage client‑facing HR relationships in SLA/KPI‑driven environments.
