HR Partner – Fixed-Term (12 months) – Builder Experience Team

About the role

The HR Partner role in the Builder Experience Team (BeXT) is a 12‑month fixed‑term position focused on supporting AWS Builders. You will work closely with business leaders and HR colleagues to shape the Builder experience through strategic HR initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with AWS business leaders and HR teams to design and implement talent, performance, compensation, and employee‑relations strategies.
• Represent the organization in CCMA cases, attend conciliation and arbitration hearings, and prepare related documentation.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR support to Builders and their leaders across regions, advising on policies, queries, and escalation points.
• Consult, coach, and develop leadership, driving inclusive cultures and fostering Builder engagement.
• Promote technology adoption and self‑service HR tools.
• Conduct workplace investigations in partnership with Builder Relations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Management, Psychology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience as an HR generalist.
• High proficiency in English.
