HR Officer – Manufacturing (Cape Town area)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Officer to support our manufacturing operations in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. The role offers a competitive salary aligned with your current earnings and a full benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment and selection, ensuring compliance with EE and company policies.
• Support employee onboarding and manage the employee wellness day and bursary programmes.
• Advise on employee relations, handle absenteeism, and coordinate disciplinary processes.
• Maintain and upload data to HRIS tools and generate HR reports.
• Contribute to the design and rollout of new policies and procedures.
• Manage student and graduate programmes and liaise with tertiary institutions.
• Conduct exit interviews, participate in audits, and champion automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
• ND in HR Management and solid knowledge of the BCEA, labour relations, and skills development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
• Own a car and reside in Noordhoek, Fishoek, Glen Cairne, Westlake, Tokai, Constantia or Rondebosch.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player supporting the HR Manager.
