About the role
We are a logistics company based in Milnerton, seeking a proactive HR Officer/Generalist to join our team in Cape Town. The role involves supporting all HR functions and ensuring smooth operations in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Coordinate and deliver training programmes for staff development.
- Handle employee and industrial relations matters, including dispute resolution and negotiations.
- Maintain accurate HR records, update policies, and support recruitment activities.
- Provide advice to managers on HR best practices and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Required profile
- Matric qualification and a relevant HR degree.
- 3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
- Demonstrated experience in payroll, training, and IR/ER functions.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and work independently.
- Forward‑thinking, meticulous, and strong communication skills.
