HR Manager

About the role

Our client, a well‑established financial services provider, is looking for an experienced, hands‑on HR Manager to lead the full Human Resources function. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the entire employee lifecycle and drive strategic HR initiatives that support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual HR objectives and initiatives aligned with corporate strategy.
• Manage payroll processing, statutory reporting and remuneration administration.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management and learning & development programmes.
• Oversee employee relations, ensure compliance with BCEA, LRA, EEA, OHSA, COIDA and other legislation.
• Maintain HR governance, policies and HRIS data integrity.
• Provide trusted HR advice to senior management and staff while safeguarding confidentiality.

Required profile

• BCom degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Management or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in a HR Generalist role within a corporate environment.
• Proven track record managing payroll, recruitment, training, performance management and employee relations.
• Excellent verbal, written and report‑writing skills with strong analytical and organisational abilities.
