About the role

Join Moving Tactics as an HR Intern and support a fast‑growing team that powers digital signage and retail analytics across South Africa. You will gain hands‑on experience across recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement and HR administration while contributing to a vibrant workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Assist full‑cycle recruitment: post adverts, manage billings, shortlist candidates and prepare correspondence.
• Schedule and support interview processes, conduct background and reference checks.
• Execute new‑employee induction and take minutes during monthly catch‑ups.
• Maintain employee profiles, track probation periods, benefits, birthdays and assist with internal communications.
• Coordinate performance appraisal cycles and support health‑wellness initiatives and corporate events.
• Help produce the company newsletter, draft employee letters and manage social‑media content for birthdays.
• Book and track quarterly training courses and maintain up‑to‑date organograms and HR reports.
• Ensure OHS compliance by updating checklists and training certifications.
• Support labour relations by distributing warnings and setting up disciplinary hearings.
• Assist with monthly BBBEE enterprise and supplier training reports.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an HR or administrative role.
• Strong interest in human resources and employee development.

Required skills

• High proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
