Recruiter – Graduate Placement

About the role

We are looking for a people‑focused Recruiter to match South African graduates with suitable gap‑year and graduate opportunities. You will guide candidates from application through placement while collaborating with hiring companies, universities and our internal team to ensure a seamless experience.

Key responsibilities

• Screen and match graduate candidates with relevant job opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employer partners and hiring managers.
• Guide graduates through CV preparation, interview coaching, placement and onboarding support.
• Manage candidate pipelines, documentation and recruitment administration.
• Track placement outcomes and continuously refine matching processes.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualified with 2–3 years’ experience in recruitment, sales, HR or a people‑facing role.
• Confident communicator able to build trust quickly with graduates and employers.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple candidates and roles simultaneously.
• Strong judgment in matching people to roles, not just filling vacancies.
• Independent, dependable and comfortable in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
