About the role
We are looking for a top calibre HR Director for our manufacturing client in Pinetown. The role requires a relevant post‑graduate degree in HR or Business Administration and at least 10 years of senior HR management experience, with strong confidence in union relations, employment equity and BBBEE initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead HR strategy and operational execution.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding and talent management.
- Handle complex employee relations matters including disciplinary hearings, grievances, restructuring and union negotiations.
- Drive employment equity and BBBEE initiatives.
- Oversee team management and HR leadership.
Required profile
- Relevant post‑graduate qualification in HR, Business Administration or related field.
- 10 + years senior HR experience in a manufacturing environment, dealing with unions, BBBEE and employment equity.
- Strong understanding of South African labour legislation.
- Proven senior‑level people management capabilities.
