HR Consultant (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive HR Consultant to support our clients across a range of human‑resource functions. The role combines strategic advisory with hands‑on implementation of employment equity, skills development and general HR operations. You will work in a hybrid setting, balancing office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor Employment Equity plans and reports in line with legislative requirements.
• Facilitate and submit annual Employment Equity reports to the Department of Labour.
• Coordinate Skills Development planning and implementation according to the Skills Development Act.
• Prepare and submit Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and Annual Training Reports (ATR) to the relevant SETAs.
• Advise on and execute training and development strategies aligned with SDL requirements.
• Conduct EE and SDL audits, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
• Support recruitment, performance management, employee relations and general HR operations.
• Provide guidance on labour legislation and HR best practices, including BBBEE reporting related to skills development and EE.

Required profile

• National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience with strong exposure to Employment Equity and Skills Development functions.
• Good knowledge of South African labour laws (EEA, SDA, BCEA, LRA) and reporting processes.
• Analytical mindset with strong report‑writing abilities and attention to detail.
• Organisational skills and ability to manage multiple compliance deadlines.
